Recent technology advancements and the COVID-19 pandemic have revolutionized healthcare. Healthcare professionals now rely on digital health tools—such as wearable devices, sensors, AI-enabled clinical services, telemedicine applications and remote patient monitoring systems—to diagnose patients and monitor their care.

In this series of online workshops, you’ll be introduced to this exciting new era of healthcare. You’ll learn about the latest trends in digital health, such as the role of artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and robotics, data visualization and virtual and augmented reality, smart healthcare platforms, m-health, and telemedicine. And you’ll learn new skills through hands-on, interactive exercises.

Each online workshop is asynchronous , meaning it takes place online, with no live meetings, either in person or online. You can view and complete assignments on your own time to fit into your busy schedule. However, you will need to commit six hours over two weeks to complete assignments for each workshop.. You will interact with your fellow students and your instructor via weekly collaborative discussion forums and submit interactive videos.

Your instructor will be available to meet with you virtually, by appointment.

You will earn a digital badge for each workshop you complete; complete six workshops to earn a digital Certificate in Digital Health.
